Travellers say the same thing repeatedly: they weighed a hire car, took a tour, and were glad. The two-hour run west and the same back is the part that does not show up in a photograph.
The descent to Wentworth Falls comes up again and again — rewarding, and about 200 steps each way. Reviewers praise the guides who warn them honestly before the group sets off.
Mist, fog and whiteouts appear in the lowest-rated reviews across several operators. Nobody controls it, the tours run anyway, and free cancellation twenty-four hours out is the only lever you have.
