We earn a commission on bookings
Blue Mountains Tours may earn a commission when you book a tour through a link on
this site, at no extra cost to you. You pay the operator's own price;
the platform pays us a share of its fee. Links that earn us something carry
rel="noopener sponsored" in their markup.
What we are not
- We are not the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and we do not speak for it.
- We are not Scenic World, which is privately run and sells its own tickets at its own gate.
- We are not the operator of any tour listed here, and we do not take bookings, payments or cancellations.
Operators cannot pay for placement
No operator can buy a position, a badge or a mention. The order of the cards follows rating and review volume, the badges are arithmetic — highest review count, lowest price, a rating of 4.9 or better — and a tour that excludes something its own title implies has that stated on its card whether it flatters the listing or not.
The figures belong to the operators
Prices, star ratings, review counts, durations and inclusions are the operators' own, taken from their listings on Viator and GetYourGuide as they stood on 2026-09-09. They move. Treat every figure here as indicative and the operator's own page as final.
Facts about the mountains
Opening hours, fees, distances and climate figures are ours to get right. They come from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, NSW Environment and Heritage, Transport for NSW, Scenic World's own site and the Bureau of Meteorology's Katoomba records, and each is cited where it is used. Where a fact could not be confirmed from an official source, it is left out rather than hedged.
